Brushed DC Motor Driver Board for SimpleDCC/Arduino, 1.2V - 22V

Details

A DC motor driver circuit based on the Monolithic Power Systems MP6550 DC motor driver. This circuit can be used for bidirectional control of a brushed DC motor and other loads, such as solenoids, with a voltage range of 1.8 V to 22 V. It supplies up to approximately 1.7 A continuously and features configurable current sensing and current limiting. The board includes block terminals, such as this model.

Main Features

  • Compatible with our accessory decoders and SimpleDCC-based boards
  • Includes pre-soldered block terminals – no soldering required
  • H-bridge motor driver: drives one DC motor, solenoid, or similar load
  • Motor supply voltage range: 1.8 V to 22 V
  • Logic supply voltage range: 1.8 V to 4.9 V
  • Output current: up to 1.7 A continuous; operating at lower motor and logic supply voltages may reduce the maximum continuous output current
  • Current-sense feedback
  • Under-voltage lockout, over-current, and over-temperature protection
  • Carrier board provides reverse-voltage protection up to 20 V
  • Size: 12.7 mm x 15.24 mm
